Mirror Dash Cam Wholesale: How Distributors Build a Range
How to build a mirror dash cam wholesale range: 1080P dual-lens mirrors, 4K streaming mirrors and triple-channel models, with specs, OEM and order tips.
· ShinVea
Short answer: a mirror dash cam replaces or covers the rearview mirror and records the road ahead, and on most models the rear as well. A wholesale range usually needs two tiers. Dual-lens mirrors with a 4.0 to 5.5-inch screen record 1080P front and VGA rear for value buyers. Full-screen streaming mirrors (9.66 and 11.26-inch) show the rear camera image across the whole mirror and record up to 4K, with triple-channel models that add a cabin camera. ShinVea, a Guangzhou dash cam supplier founded in 2015, offers ten mirror models across both tiers, with OEM logo and packaging options.

Why mirror dash cams sell
Mirror dash cams solve two problems at once. The driver gets a recorder without a second device on the windscreen, and on streaming models a clear rear view even when passengers or cargo block the back window. For distributors and installers, that means:
- An easy pitch. The product replaces something the car already has, so customers understand it at once.
- Upsell potential. Every mirror sale can include a hardwire kit and a fitting job.
- A clear range ladder. Screen size, resolution and the number of cameras give you natural price steps without complicated technical selling.
The two tiers in the ShinVea range
All values below come from the current ShinVea catalog. See every model on the rearview mirror dash cams page.
Tier 1: dual-lens mirror dash cams (1080P + VGA)
| Model | Screen | Front / rear | Lens angle | Touch screen | Mirror glass |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SV-V901 | 4.0" IPS | 1080P / VGA | 120° | No | White-blue mirror |
| SV-V909 | 4.0" IPS | 1080P / VGA | 120° | No | White-blue mirror |
| SV-V906 | 4.5" IPS | 1080P / VGA | 120° | No | White-blue mirror |
| SV-V907 | – | 1080P / VGA | 120° | Yes, with voice control | 2.5D curved mirror |
| SV-V908 | 5.5" IPS | 1080P / VGA | 120° | Yes, with voice control | 2.5D curved mirror |

All five record dual-channel at 30 fps in MP4 (MOV) format, use 8GB to 64GB TF cards with 1, 3 or 5-minute loop recording, support reverse assist, and use a digital rear camera signal. They are powered by a car charger (12 V to 5 V, 1 A). This tier suits retail shelves and online sellers that need a simple, recognisable product.
Tier 2: full-screen streaming mirrors
| Model | Screen | Cameras and resolution | Lens angle | Connectivity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SV-K2 | 9.66" IPS full screen | 1080P front + 720P rear (AHD) | 120° | – |
| SV-K5 PRO | 9.66" IPS full screen | 4K front + 1080P rear (AHD) | 135° | Built-in WiFi |
| SV-K6 PRO | 11.26" IPS full screen | 4K front + 1080P rear (AHD) | 135° | Built-in WiFi |
| SV-K7 | 9.66" IPS HD | 2K front + 1080P cabin + 1080P rear | 125° / 180° / 120° | WiFi |
| SV-K7 PRO | 9.66" IPS HD | 4K front + 2K cabin + 2K rear | 135° / 180° / 120° | WiFi |
On a streaming mirror, the screen shows the rear camera image instead of the reflection while the front camera records. The SV-K2, SV-K5 PRO and SV-K6 PRO are touch-screen models with a 2.5D white-blue mirror, an AHD rear camera, reverse assist, and optional time-lapse recording through a 3-wire hardwire connection. They come with a strap bracket, and a special bracket is optional.
The SV-K7 and SV-K7 PRO add a cabin camera with a 180° lens, which makes them the models to offer taxi, ride-hailing and fleet customers. Both support ADAS, a G-sensor, a microphone with audio recording on or off, a Type-C 5 V / 2.5 A power input and an optional external GPS. Full specifications are on the SV-K7 PRO page.
How to plan a first wholesale order
Step 1: Pick one model per customer type
- Value retail: one 4.0-inch model (SV-V901 or SV-V909).
- Mid-range retail: the SV-V908 for a larger 5.5-inch touch screen with voice control.
- Upgrade buyers: the SV-K5 PRO or SV-K6 PRO for 4K front recording and a full-screen rear view.
- Fleet and ride-hailing: the SV-K7 or SV-K7 PRO for front, cabin and rear recording.
Step 2: Decide on packaging and branding
ShinVea can mark your logo on the product (per model), supply a gift box or neutral packaging, and print packaging and manuals in your language. Options differ by model and are confirmed with the quotation. See the OEM / ODM page.
Step 3: Plan the memory cards
The dual-lens and SV-K2 models list 8GB to 64GB TF cards. Bundle a card in the box or offer it as an add-on so the customer can start recording on day one.
Step 4: Confirm terms
MOQ, lead time, payment and pricing are confirmed after your inquiry, per model and version. Packing data, such as carton quantity and carton size, is on each product page where the catalog gives it. Details are on the ordering and business terms page.
Installer notes
- Strap or hardwire. Strap-mounted mirrors fit over the original mirror. For parking time-lapse on K-series models, plan the optional 3-wire hardwire connection.
- Rear camera routing. Route the rear cable along the headliner and pillar trim before fitting the trim panels.
- Reverse assist. Connect the reverse signal so the mirror switches to the reversing view when the car is in reverse.
- Local rules. Recording laws differ by country, especially for cabin and audio recording. Most models let the driver switch audio recording on or off.
One supplier for the whole car
Many of our dash cam partners also sell lighting. ShinVea Group supplies projector lenses, LED headlight bulbs and retrofit parts too: see the group site, shinveagroup.com.
